Description

Code Builders 

For ages 9-14. 

 

Students will build on the concepts learning from Code Explorers and create more complex games and projects. Kids learn more about game-design elements and collaborate to enhance their projects. 

Some of the many coding concepts students will learn include: 

  • More complex conditionals and loops 

  • Lists 

  • Functions 

  • Pen interaction 

  • Video motion 

  • Game-design elements 

  • Incorporating physics into games 

  • Physical programming with the Raspberry Pi 

  • Typing basics 

This is a 10-session program that runs over the course of two months.  

 

Skill Level 

Intermediate block programmers who have mastered the projects in Code Explorers. 

 

Requirements 

Students will need: 

  • Access to a computer with internet access 
  • An email address
