Code Builders

For students in Grades 7 to 9 (beginner to intermediate coders welcomed!)

Only for students attending Edmonton Islamic Academy!

Students will learn coding and game design concepts to create games and projects. Kids learn more about game-design elements and collaborate to enhance their projects. Beginner to intermediate coders welcomed!

Some of the many coding concepts students will learn include:

  • More complex conditionals and loops
  • Lists
  • Functions
  • Pen interaction
  • Video motion
  • Game-design elements
  • Incorporating physics into games
  • Physical programming with the Raspberry Pi
  • Typing basics
