Design-a-Website 

For ages 9-15. 

 

How can kids take their writing skills to the next level while learning from home? 

 

They can join our virtual classes and learn how to use website-building tools and expository writing to create a fact site.  

 

This is an instructor-led and curriculum-tied program with 4-6 students that emphasizes how to use digital tools and coding to enhance students’ learning needs in core school subjects.  

 

Throughout the program, students will: 

  • Research and write informational content for their website 
  • Learn about user experience (UX) concepts 
  • Use WordPress or Wix to display their work 

 

This is a 10-session program that runs twice a week. Each session is 1 hour. 

 

Skill Level 

All skill levels welcome. 

 

Requirements 

Students will need: 

  • Access to a computer with internet access 
  • An email address
