For ages 10-14.
How can students take their coding game and problem-solving skills to the next level? They can learn a “grown-up” language!
Python Explorers is for students who want to continue to build the skills and knowledge they discovered in Python Discoverers. Students re-enforce and grow their usage of Python programming with Jupyter Notebooks — the same modern tools used by universities and technology companies.
We will integrate many number-sense concepts from the math curriculum, as well as make more complex games like hangman.
Students will learn various computer science concepts, such as:
● Data science concepts
● More advanced control flow logic
● Complex conditionals and loops
● Data structures
● Debugging
This is a 10-session program that runs twice a week. Each class is 90 min.
Skill Level
