Ages: 9-14

Skill Level: Prerequisite – Code Explorers or equivalent experience in block coding (you may contact us through email if you would like to confirm).

Type of Program: Progressive Coding

Length of Course:9 am (8:30 am early drop off) - 4 pm (4:30 pm late pick up)

 

About This Course

Your child will build on the concepts learned from Code Explorers and create more complex games and projects. This course will advance their skills in game-design and collaboration to enhance their projects.

In this course, your child will:

  • Learn coding concepts such as more complex conditionals and loops, lists, functions, pen interaction, video motion
  • Improve their game-design skills by incorporating physics into games
  • Choose and build game features using code
  • Take ownership of their projects and collaborate with their peers
  • Strengthen their typing skills
  • Learn physical programming with the Raspberry Pi
  • Meet friends who share a common interest
  • Have an absolute blast!
