Length of Course: 2 hours, with a 10-minute break halfway through.

About This Course

Your child will create their very own app! In this course, kids learn to create and control buttons, text, images, sounds, and screens in JavaScript using block or text coding.

In this course, your child will

• Improve their problem-solving and logic skills as they learn the basics of Javascript coding
• Learn about user experience (UX) design as they implement important app elements such as layouts, buttons and colors
• Code a fun mobile web-app that can be shared with family and friends!
• Kids will create a “Choose Your Own Adventure”, “Greeting Card”, or “Personality Quiz” app.
• Learn alongside new friends and showcase their creations
• Have an absolute blast!

Course Requirements:

• A desktop or laptop computer with reliable internet connection
• Webcam, microphone, zoom and a few other supplies to ensure a safe and seamless learning experience (please read: what is needed for online learning)
