Skill Level: Prerequisite – Code Discoverers or equivalent experience in block coding (you may contact us through email if you would like to confirm).

Type of Program: Progressive Coding

Length of Course: 5 days - 9 AM to 4 PM.  Early drop-off 8:30 AM. Late pick-up 4:30 PM.

About This Course

Your child will create their first app, story, or game to build on their computational thinking! Your child will learn the fundamentals of computers, computing science, and game design with Scratch, a drag-and-drop creative learning program.

In this course, your child will:

• Learn coding concepts such as algorithms, sequencing, logic, conditionals, loops, variables, and cloning
• Use a visual programming language to create multiple types of games and projects that they can share
• Choose and build game features using code
• Take ownership of their projects and collaborate with their peers
• Use multiple types of educational technologies, including coding mini robots!
• Meet friends who share a common interest
• Have an absolute blast!
