Robotics with Micro:Bits Camp

Ages: 10-14

Skill Level: Intermediate understanding of how to use a computer.

Type of Program: Digital Makers

Length of Course: 5 full days; 9 am (8:30 am early drop off) - 4 pm (4:30 pm late pick up)

 

About This Course

Does your child like to combine their coding skills with robotics? In this course, your child will learn about engineering design, circuitry, robotics, and coding a robot. Let’s give your child an opportunity to create and invent their own ideas.

In this course, your child will:

  • Learn the basics of circuitry to connect mini-computers to electronics, such as servos, ultra sensors, light detectors, and more.
  • Express their creativity as they design their robot for various challenges
  • Create fun challenges such as an Inch Worm race, Automatics Plant watering detection and system, a robot and robotic arm to traverse through an obstacle course.
  • Create and design a robot for Robo Sumo Wrestling challenge!
  • Have an absolute blast!
