Length of Course: 5 Full Day camp; 9 am (8:30 am early drop off) - 4 pm (4:30 pm late pick up)

About This Course

Does your child want to be a vlogger, director, or YouTube gamer? In this course, your child will learn what it takes to plan, film, and edit fun and engaging videos for YouTube. Students will learn how to compile text, animations, images, and audio to create a captivating video. Let’s give your child an opportunity to direct their own ideas, instead of just watching other people’s.

In this course, your child will:

• Express their creativity as they collect imagery, animations, and clips for the video
• Learn about the special skills that make YouTubers successful such as channel branding and storytelling
• Receive thorough guidance on how to stay safe online and be a positive digital citizen
• Gain confidence while starring in their own and their friend’s videos
• Learn how to organize and edit text and visuals on a timeline with fun effects that keep the audience engaged
• Learn how to insert and edit text and audio in a video
• Collaborate with friends and show their amazing videos to their classmates
• Go home with several projects such as a stop motion video, Minecraft gaming video, lyric video, and more
• Have an absolute blast!
