Length of Course: 10 weeks, Thursdays after-school, 2:40- 4:00 PM

April 3 to June 19, 2025. No class April 10 & 17, 2025!

About This Course

For grades 1-3. Your child will learn about technology, digital literacy, online safety, and problem solving with block coding program. Your child will create animated stories and games to build a foundation in computational thinking.

In this course, your child will:

  • Learn coding concepts such as algorithms, sequencing, events, conditionals
  • Learn problem solving with a block programming language
  • Create their own games
  • Explore other computer topics such as: digital images and AI
  • Explore the inside of a computer and get to know computer Hardware basics
  • Meet friends who share a common interest
  • Have an absolute blast!
