Learn to code your first app, story, or game using block coding!

Code Explorers is a 10-class program (2 times per week for 5 weeks) where kids, grades 3 to 6. explore the fundamentals of computers, computing science, game design and coding. The experience is about problem solving through fun and discovery.

Students will program multiple types of games and projects, and will choose the features they want to build, and advance their problem-solving skills to build these features using code. They will take ownership of their own projects and collaborate with their peers to create awesome products. By the end of the session, students will use a visual programming language to create a game they can share with their family and friends!

Some of the many coding concepts students will learn include:

  • Algorithms
  • Sequencing
  • Logic
  • Conditionals
  • Loops
  • Variables
  • Cloning



  • Students must have access to a computer with internet access.
  • Students must have an email address.
  • Connection instructions will be set via email after registration.
