Minecraft Camp – Redstone Circuitry

Is your child crazy for Minecraft? Would they like to learn to play Minecraft in constructive ways?

For ages 9-14. Come explore one of the most renowned and exciting features of Minecraft – Redstone! For the uninitiated, Redstone is a strange red powder that can power doors, open walls, and even be a computer! And with all things, it is analogous to something in the real world. Circuits!

Kids will explore our red stone tutorial lab. Then they will apply their understanding of circuitry with challenges like farming, amusement parks, safe houses for your villagers and more.

Students will learn:

• Basics of circuitry

• Simple machine structures like automatic doors to combination locks using logic structures

• To work individually and collaborate on challenges

Kids get to keep the worlds they build as a class to continue their builds.

Requirements:

• Students must have access to a computer with internet access.

• Students will need to have Minecraft for Windows 10, Minecraft for iOS, or Minecraft for Android
