Minecraft Spring Break

COVID-19 updates (March 17, 2020):

Alberta declared a state of emergency under the Public Health Act. All spring break camps are currently cancelled.

This is a full-week* Spring Break program for kids aged 7 to 12 (grades 2 to 6) for guided Minecraft sessions and Minecraft-themed fun!

This is a series of fun and educational Minecraft camps designed to maximize collaboration between players.  Emphasis is placed on caring for other players, helping out and being a leader. Students will work in teams to:

• Write code to create Minecraft mods
• Design
• Build
• Test
• Present
• Reflect

Multiple skill levels are welcomed.  New players will be guided in the activities, and advanced players can take on leadership roles and more challenging objectives.

Past students are welcomed to join again to face different challenges and refine & advance their skills.

We do not spend the entire class in front of a screen! We emphasize offline and physical activities as well. Physical activity breaks will be provided by instructors from Quantum Leap Dance studios across the hall (specific activity to be determined).

• Class starts at 9:00 AM (early drop-off starting at 8:30 AM)
• Class ends at 4:00 PM (late pick-up until 4:30 PM)

*Full-week, or 1-day, or 2-day options available.
