Junior Writers Series C

For ages 9-12.

How can kids take their writing skills to the next level while learning from home?

They can join our virtual classes and learn about persuasive writing using modern, digital tools.

This is an instructor-led and curriculum-tied program with 4-6 students that emphasizes how to use digital tools and coding to enhance students’ learning needs in core school subjects. 

Throughout the program, students will:

• Learn writing strategies to convince readers to believe in an idea, sell a product, change an opinion, or do an action

• Learn about graphic design

• Use Canva to create a digital pamphlet and showcase their work

This is a 5-session program that runs for a week. Each session is 2 hours long with a 10-minute break halfway through.

Requirements

Students will need:

• Access to a computer with internet access

• An email address
