Web PD Day Camp May 19

Create a Web Page on your next PD Day at our full-day camp! For kids ages 9-14

Join us for a day of learning the core technologies that power all 6 BILLION web pages (and counting) on the internet -- HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Students will be given a theme idea to explore together, such as a "toy review" page, to emphasize:

• Research and gather ideas for a web page
• Create text and graphical content
• Code their webpage using HTML tags
• Enhance  their webpage with CSS and Javascript
• Present and reflect on their creations

Multiple skill levels and repeat students are encouraged and welcomed.  First-time students will be guided with basic elements; while more experienced students will be challenged to refine their skills and work with more advanced elements.

Notice

• Class starts at 9:00 AM (early drop-off starting at 8:30 AM)
• Class ends at 4:00 PM (late pick-up until 4:30 PM)

Returning students will be challenged with more elements, tags, and properties to build on previous lessons!
